Its been 9 years (to be exact) since this hate letter for Filipinos is not new for the other especially for those who are so Internet geek to social networking sites like facebook, plurk, twitter or even at friendster. And since Filipinos are now top of the headline in news all over the world about the “hostage taking”, maybe this letter resurrect in an instant!
But for those Pinoys who hasn’t read this, I’d like to share it with you to let others know who had read this email be informed that MR. ART BELL did not make a broadcast calling the Philippines “a disgusting and filthy place.” A false e-mail recounting his alleged remarks has been circulating online since the 1990s. This is an open letter email by Art Bell, a radio talk show host in Nevada (more info in the email itself). Here is yet another person who has taken; advantage of his power and privilege to use hateful words and racial stereotypes that breed further ignorance and intolerance in our society.
